Namibia Photo Tour Friday Nov 1, Sat Nov 2nd & Sun Nov 3rd, 2013

November 03, 2013 at 8:34 PM

We are now in Etosha Game Reserve in the northern part of Namibia ...

After leaving Moon Mountain Lodge and traveling to Darmaland we stayed the next two nights at Twyfountain Lodge, and it was beautiful once again being in the back country. The only thing was the internet was down at the lodge during our stay.  So tonight we have combined the last three days.

We have now traveled up the skeleton coast and once again moved into the interior desert region of Namibia’s north.  We stayed two nights at Twyfountain Lodge and went out on a 4x4 safari to track and photograph the Desert Elephant, what an amazing experience getting up close to these magnificent animals.  They have adapted to living in the desert and survive on little water and can even go two to three days in between watering holes.

We are now at Etosha Game reserve for a couple of days of safari.  We did a game drive this evening and will be out again all day tomorrow.  When we went into the game reserve at 5:00 p.m this afternoon it 42C in the open sun. It started to cool off quickly and we had a great evening of shooting. Tonight we say lion cubs, the white elephant and white elephant and giraffe, just to name a few.

Well that is the last three days and all our followers up to date.  We have to be up at 5:00 a.m. to get ready for our game drive so good night from Etosha Game Reserve. Enjoy this evenings images from our last three days in Namibia.
