Friday August 14th: St. Michael’s on the Mount, Lands End and St. Ives

Another great day here in the South of England. Today we visited the castle of St. Michael’s on the Mount which is a castle that stands hight upon the rocks on an island in the harbour. At low tide you walk along a stone causeway to the island and during hight time a boat from the docks.

We then visited the furthest point south in England, Lands End, had lunch and then some time to take photographs. We then traveled up the coast to St.Ives, Cornwall. We have had another great day and even thought it rained as we left our hotel this morning, it was beautiful and sunny the rest of the day. Enjoy this evenings selection of images.

The first image is the stone causeway that appears when the tide is out

The view from the top, you can get a good idea of the length of the causeway

Due to a server failure on August 19th, 2015 we have had to restore the last 5 days of our England Blog. This was done as of August 20th, 2015 so you can see all the great places we experienced while on our tour, but unfortunately all the blog comments were lost. We apologize to all the folk that took time to leave comments while we were on tour as we appreciate hearing from home as we travel. Thanks James
