Vietnam & Cambodia Photo Tour
A day in Ho Chi Minh City - April 25th, 2015

A beautiful day of photo opportunities and experiences here in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly know as Saigon. We started out day with a photo shoot down by the Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and City Hall. It was amazing to see how many bride and groom’s were having their wedding photos taken ... great for us. Here in Vietnam it is quite common for the bride and groom to have their formal wedding photos shot up to three weeks before the wedding. Then on the wedding day traditional dress and back into the wedding gown. As we walked around the cathedral we say many couples and a few students who are about to graduate having photos with their friends.

Then before lunch at 14th floor Lemon Grass, we went up to the observation deck in the Bitexco Financial Tower which is the highest tower in Ho Chi Minh City. This made for some great photographs some 54 floors above the city.

After lunch we visited the Chinese wholesale market and as always a bee hive of activity. There is more merchandise than words can describe and photos give you and idea, but you have to stand in the middle of it to appreciate the amount of commerce that goes on here each day.

This evening we finished our day in Ho Chi Minh City with a Vespa by Night tour. This three and a half hour tour visited the various districts of the city where we sampled the traditional and some newer clubs as we traveled around the city. It was a fun evening.  We’ve enjoyed a full day today.

The city is decorated for the 40 year celebration of re-unification of the north and south.

Has your snoring prevented you from getting good sleep for years? If you have not seen a doctor about this issue, you might be experiencing a dangerous and serious form of snoring associated with sleep apnea. If this rings true, then try not worry!. The article below can help.

If you suffer from sleep apnea, you should use a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure machine while sleeping. This will help you treat your sleep apnea and get you on the path to having a full nights sleep. This machine uses either a face or nasal mask to pump air while you sleep.

Try your best to lay off tobacco and nicotine products. Cigarette smoke can irritate your upper airway causing it to swell up, subsequently hindering your ability to breath during the night. Quitting smoking could therefore, significantly improve your sleep apnea symptoms and will also improve your body's overall health and your feelings of well-being.

Improve your sleep apnea by slimming down a bit. Recent research showed dramatic improvements in overweight men who shed 25 pounds over a period of one year to reduce sleep apnea symptoms. In some cases, the weight loss resulted in a cure of sleep apnea where no further treatment of the condition was necessary.

Sleep apnea can benefit from a good diet that results in your losing weight. Normally people are quite surprised to learn that unhealthy eating is a major source of their sleep apnea. It's been proven that poor diets can contribute to the severity of sleep apnea.

Attempt side sleeping. Many people with sleep apnea are used to sleeping on their backs. When you sleep on your back it can cause your throat and mouth tissues to impede your airways. Instead, you should sleep on your side and that can help your breathe much better. Put a pillow on your side if you always find yourself moving around during sleep.

An excellent way to help lessen the effects of sleep apnea is by losing weight. Sometimes, losing weight is all it takes to get rid of sleep apnea. Even a nominal amount of weight loss will go a long way in improving your breathing at night.

Avoid any type of drugs or alcohol if you are experiencing any type of sleep apnea. Drugs and alcohol will slow down your respiratory system, and that is known to be one of the causes of sleep apnea. If you are struggling with this issue, try to get some professional help to overcome these addictions.

If simple changes in your lifestyle, such as regular sleep hours and losing weight, have not eliminated your sleep apnea episodes, it is time to consult with a sleep specialist. The specific causes of your sleep apnea can be evaluated, and an individual treatment plan can be designed for you.

By reading through the great sleep apnea tips found in this article, you are ready to face your problem head on. While you may not be able to rid yourself of the problem completely, you will feel more confident and start working towards that all-important goal, a good night's sleep.
