This will be a location shoot. You will need your camera and a wide angle zoom lens like a 18mm-135mm and a telephoto 70mm-200mm or 300mm range.  - Studio and Portrait Lighting Photography that won't break the budget:

FFF_005.jpg

Lighting is an important part of portrait photography but can be a very expensive venture. During this workshop we will demonstrate ways to light your subject with your flash unit and items you have around the house. Once you have the right light, making your subject comfortable is what creates the perfect portrait. Working with your subject and making them feel at ease combined with the right light makes the perfect shot. Hands-on workshop. We are pleased to have photo journalist, Photo Tour Trekkers Host and Lambton College photography instructor Dave Chidley present this workshop.

 - Adobe Photoshop Elements 101: Morning session for Elements Users

FFF_006.jpg

Adobe Elements is a popular post-processing photo program. During the workshop you will have the opportunity to learn the tools Elements has to offer. Then move on to crop, straighten and resize an image. We will also try some creative techniques that will help enhance your images. Please bring your laptop with Adobe Elements installed. This is a hands on workshop.

 - Adobe Photoshop 201: Afternoon session for Adobe Photoshop Users

FFF_007.jpg

A more advanced look at Adobe Photoshop and all the features it offers the digital photographer. This workshop will help you with actions, plug-ins, retouching, and using RAW conversion. During this workshop we will work on a couple of projects that will help you better understand the use of layers and a photo restoration project.  We will also demonstrate how the program works in partnership with Adobe Lightroom. This is a hands-on workshop, please bring your laptop with Adobe Photoshop software installed.

 - Photography 101 : Understanding the elements of a great photograph

FFF_008.jpg

Bring a sample of your photography either in print or on a memory stick and if time permits we will be happy to review them in class.
