Gannets Photo Tour - June 10th to 16th, 2018
with Trekkers Canadian Wildlife Photographer Len Silvester

We are pleased to invite you to join Photo Tour Trekkers Canadian Wildlife Photographer Len Silvest on our tour to Bonaventure Island to photograph the largest Northern Gannet colony in the world. Located off Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec, the island is home to 55,000 nesting Northern Gannets.

Each day you will have early morning access to Bonaventure Island both onboard our zodiac and by island ferry. The Island is tightly controlled, and it is not possible to land on the island before 9:00 a.m. but having our own zodiac will allow us to photograph the Gannets with the morning light from this unique perspective for a couple of mornings during our trek.

Each morning we will have  time to photograph on the island. (Weather permitting) You will also have opportunity to photograph other species such as Razorbills, Common Murres, Black Legged Kittiwakes and Grey Seals all up close. Around 9:00 a.m. on zodiac days we will land at the main wharf of Bonaventure Island and hike out to the colony for more photography. We will be providing an ATV to take our gear to our shooting location.  We will be flying Air Canada departing from Pearson International Airport, Toronto, ON.
