Botswana ... The Okavango Delta is a vast and varied ecosystem created as the Okavango River flows into the Kalahari desert in Botswana. Rich in wildlife, this World Heritage Site is a sanctuary to some of the world's most endangered animals and birds.
Wildlife includes african bush elephant, african buffalo, hippopotamus, lechwe, topi, blue wildebeest, giraffe, nile crocodile, lion, cheetah, leopard, brown hyena, spotted ayena, greater kudu, sable antelope, black rhinoceros, white rhinoceros, plains zebra, warthog and chacma baboon. The endangered african wild dog still survives within the Okavango Delta and exhibits one of the richest pack densities in Africa. In addition to the large animals the wildlife of the Okavango Delta includes over 500 species of birds and 85 recorded species of fish including Tigerfish, Tilapia and Catfish.

Botswana and Victoria Falls Photo Tour Itinerary - October 5th to 18th, 2026
Day One: Monday October 5, 2026 Folk meeting in the London region we will meet at London Airport for our early afternoon coach departure to Pearson Airport. GTA and connecting guests will me at Pearson Airport. Our flight KLM flight departs 7:00 p.m. flying via Amsterdam arriving the next day.
Day Two: Tuesday October 6, 2026 Welcome to Africa! We are delighted that you have chosen to visit our beautiful country and we will ensure that the start of your journey with us is a superb experience. As you enter the arrivals hall, our Guest Service Officer will be waiting to assist you further. We will overnight in Johannesburg before flying on to Botwsana the following morning. Our lodge is connected to the airport and make for easy connection to the airport via skybridge. Time oto eat organize and relax after our flight. Overnight City Lodge at Tamboro Airport.
Day Three: Wednesday October 7, 2026 Breakfast check out and travel over to the airport for our flight to Maun Airport. Where we will begin our desert to delta safaris. The following 8 nights we will be staying in 3 lodges including the Chobe Game Lodge. This afternoon and evening will be our first game drives. We wil be in camp Okavango for the next three nights. You can't get any closer to nature than this ... (B) (L) (D)
Day Four: Thursday October 8, 2026 Breakfast then morning game drive ... we will be safaring both by jeep and on the Chobe river via private boat during our game experience. We will return to our lodge mid day and then heard out in the late afternoon for our afternoon game drive. This region offers up some many wildlife opportunites. Elephants, lions and over the ridge could be a tower of giraffes. Camp Okavango (B) (L) (D)
Day Five: Friday October 9, 2026 Breakfast then head out for our second morning game drive. We will also have sunrise opportunites. We will return to our lodge mid day and then heard out in the late afternoon for our afternoon game drive. Each game drive we will continue to look for the wildlife of the region including so many beautiful birds. Camp Okavango (B) (L) (D)
Day Six: Saturday October 10, 2026 Breakfast check out of our lodge and prepare for our flight to our next lodge. This morning we will fly from Camp Okavango to Camp Moremi for the next three days of our ultamate safari adventure. We will arrive and time to settle in pror to our afternoon game drive. This region oiffers up different landscapes and a continues=d varitey of wildlife, leopards, wild dogs, lions and heards of elephants to name a few. Camp Moremi (B) (L) (D)
Day Seven: Sunday October 11, 2026 Breakfast then head out for our second morning game drive in the Moremi region. Again we will also have sunrise opportunites. We will return to our lodge mid day for some down time, sort photos, food and then heard out in the late afternoon for our afternoon game drive. Water fowl will be on our list. Day Eight: Monday October 12, 2026 Breakfast then head out for our third morning game drive. More sunrise opportunites. Retruning to our lodge mid day for some down time, and then heard out in the late afternoon for our afternoon game drive. Again looking for unique wildlife opportuitines. Retrun at sunset for dinner. Overnight Camp Moremi (B) (L) (D)
Day Nine: Tuesday October 13, 2026 Breakfast check-out and head to the airstrip for our flight to Chbe Game Lodge. Upon arrival check-in time for lunch and prepare for our first afternoon game experience on the Chobe River. Sunset and return to our lodge for dinner and settle in for the evening. Day Ten: Wednesday October 14, 2026 Breakfast and head out for our morning game experience. Again we will return around lunch for time to each and relax before heading out again mid afternoon. Day Eleven and Twelve: Thursday October 15 to 16, 2026 - Welcome to Victoria Falls - Breakfast mornnig game drive then we will check-out and drive to Ilala Lodge. We will check-in lunch and time to relax before our afternoon and sunset river cruise. Zimbabwe is a stunning destination for its raw beauty and world class safaris. A landlocked country in southern Africa known for its reserves and national parks, brimming with natural wonder. Here, you will enjoy deluxe accommodation and exquisite cuisines. The spectacular landscape of this African land shares the Victoria Falls and Zambezi River with its neighbour, Zambia. Visitors can enjoy the "Smoke that Thunders" Victoria Falls 108m waterfall in Batoka Gorge. On the river, theres white-water rafting, great picnic spots and even bungee-jumping. At the national parks on the river, visitors can see the majestic hippos and rhinos. Not to be outdone, the variety of birdlife in Zimbabwe is unparalleled and a bird-watchers paradise. From the luxurious lodges and hotels, to well-constructed camp sites, visitors can enjoy an array of animal sighting, accommodation and fun-packed activities in these amazing national parks.
lala Lodge Hotel is in the heart of the town Victoria Falls, where the Smoke that Thunders inspires all that stand in its regal glory. The lodge is idyllically situated on the Zimbabwean side of the mighty Zambezi River boasting impressive views of the natural wonder of the world. The hotel features the award-winning Palm Restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of traditional cuisine.
4:00 p.m. on the 16th - We will board the flagship Zambezi Explorer is a 140-seater boat and is the first of its kind on the Zimbabwe side of the falls. The vessel has two lower decks as well as the exclusive signature deck that seats 30 passengers. Facilities on the signature deck include a fully stocked bar, wheelchair, wheelchair toilet and Wi-Fi. It also houses a kitchen where fresh cooked food is prepared. The cruise rate includes canapes and beverages.

Day Thirteen: Saturday October 17, 2026 Breakfast some time to relax before check-out and heading to the airport to begin our journey home to Canada. Our international flight departs at 7:00 p.m. connecting through Amsterdam seing us arring back into Canada the following day. (B)
Day Fourteen: Sunday October 18, 2026 Our flight is schedluled to arrive at 3:35 p.m. after clearing customs and saying farewell to our connecting and GTA guest we will board our coach for the return drive to London arriving in London at approximately 7:00 p.m.
August to October is the prime time to visit Botswana offersingup spectacular wildlife photo opportunities and inspiring landscapes. The temperatures October range from lows of 16 C to 20 C to highs of 25C to 28C. Humidity 20% to 35% with little or no. rain. As with most locations we visit we recommend dressing in layers.
Pre-tour Information Night: As with all our photo tours, we will hold a photo information night approximately three weeks prior to departure. We will present the final itinerary, travel suggestions, what gear to pack, and hand out all related travel documents. The pre-tour presentation is designed to give our photographers all the information needed for our trek. This also allows a chance for you to meet your fellow travellers, and host. As the tour date approaches we will send out an email invitation to the registered guests.

The cost of Botswana and Victoria Falls Photo Tour is $19,979.00 per person CAD based on double occupancy including air via KLM, plus air taxes of $1098.84 CAD plus 13.00 HST. Single supplement is available for an additional $4,600.00 CAD.
A non-refundable deposit of $4,990.00 is due at the time of booking due to limited space. Balance due 60 days prior to departure August 5th, 2026. Purchase of travel and health insurance as this tour takes us out of the country.
