Sariska to Ranthambhore
May 2nd & 3rd, 2019
After yesterday’s first glimpse of the diversity of Sariska National Park we eagerly looked forward to our full day of photo safaris.
Everyone was hopeful to find and photograph our first wild Tiger. The anticipation and excitement of the hunt was certainly building. With two safari sessions we were hopeful of tracking down an elusive tiger.
There is no guarantee of a tiger sighting and we had searched for a couple of hours when we were rewarded with a fabulous sequence as Sariska Tiger 9 – “ST9” walked out from the forest and into the sunlight along the path in front of us calmly putting on a show.
We watched her gracefully stride along near us and face our cameras almost performing for us before silently disappearing back into the forest of the park.
The rest of our day was spent was exploring more of the vast Park, and another visit by ST9, in the afternoon was a bonus.
The 4th day of our India adventure takes us from Sariska to Ranthambhore National Park and several more days of Tiger Safaris. We only hope it goes as wall as our two days in Sariska.
