Madagascar Day 1
Andasibe National Park
Our Trekkers group of photographers arrived yesterday at 1:40 p.m. to Antananarivo the capital of Madagascar. We departed the airport through busy streets as the locals prepared for the visit of the pope. We headed 3 hours north to the rain forest of Andasibe National Park. When we arrived we did a night forest walk before dinner. The following morning we made our way into the rain forest in search of various species of lemurs and other rain forest wildlife. We were fortunate to see 5 species of lemurs today. What a great start! After lunch we travel back to Antananarivo arriving in time for dinner and overnight.
